先進国のアメリカでは16人に1人がヴィーガンであることを知りました。日本ではなぜヴィーガンと聞くと攻撃的なイメージが出てしまうのかと考えた時に多くの人がヴィーガンは絶対に肉を食べない人、動物革製品を日常的に使用しない人という事しか知らないからだと思いました。
実は、世界ではヴィーガンのイメージはもっとライトなものになっていて、「健康のため、環境のため、動物のために”可能な限り動物を摂取をしない”」という考えの人が多くいます。
日本でももっとライトにヴィーガンのことを考えて頂きたいです。
少しでも動物が可哀想、健康を大事にしたい、環境問題が気になると思ったら「今日のお肉を豆腐にしてみようかな」と気軽な気持ちで試して欲しいです。
